A Food and Fun Filled Q&A session

Hello everybody,

Let’s have a little fun in the blogosphere. I have a few food and fun filled questions that I would like to answer for you. These questions came from

Let’s Talk about Food

I will only take a few of them and answer them honestly. I hope you enjoy reading my answers to these questions as much as I enjoy writing them. Please feel free to comment on either my blog or Abbie’s blog with your own food questions, or answer any of these questions on your own blog or web site.

So, without further ado, let’s have a fun and food filled Q&A session!

Q: What is your favorite breakfast?

A: It depends on my mood and what I have in the house. Sometimes I will eat Mini pancakes with sausage, while at other times I’ll make myself a bowl of cheese grits and scrambled eggs. There are mornings that I don’t even eat breakfast, because we are either going out to eat later that day, or I am just not hungry when I first wake up.

Q: How do you drink your coffee?

A: I usually take one teaspoon of creamer with four teaspoons of sugar. I know that’s really sweet, but it also depends on the size of my coffee cup. When I am at home, I use a Starbucks cup that I got for Christmas a few years ago. My husband has one that is similar, yet different in many ways. Although there are days that I don’t drink Coffee, I will make it for my husband, and have a cup of coffee with him.

Q: What’s in your favorite sandwich?

A: Usually I prefer either ham and cheese or turkey and cheese sandwich, but sometimes I like a good old Peanut butter and jelly sandwich. For a light lunch.

Q: Soup or Salad?

A: It depends on where I go out to eat. When I’m at home, I can make a meal off of soup; however, I sometimes eat salad when I am at certain restaurants, I will eat a side salad before I eat a meal. When I go to Olive Garden, I eat soup and breadsticks as my meal, because their soup fills me up. Yet there are other times when I have neither.

Q: No more sweets or no more savories?

A: I shouldn’t eat sweets, but I do have a craving for chocolate once and awhile, and I have to have sugar in my coffee and tea.

Q: What’s your favorite cuisine?

A: I have several favorites, some of which aren’t so healthful, but they are comfort foods. For example, I have always loved Macaroni and cheese, different kinds of pasta, rice, potatoes and the like, but I have vegetables that I like as well.

Q: What’s your guilty pleasure?

A: chocolate, especially dark chocolate, Cakes, cookies, and all the things that aren’t very healthy, but I save these pleasures for special occasions, or at least I try to.

These are the questions I have chosen, now it’s your turn to choose the ones you want to answer. Have fun with this and have a blessed day!

  1. Breakfast is hard. It’s a toss up between bacon, eggs and home fries and pancakes. Coffee, just with a little milk and chocolate at any pint during the day.
