Unfortunately, the social media sites don’t seem to agree on size for logos or banners. We had to work pretty hard to get a consistent looking banner across all the platforms we’re on. Good luck.
I just use a photo that I like. The problem is getting it the right size, because they all require a different size image. If you wanted information on the image, you really need someone who is familiar with a graphic program.

I wouldn’t even know how to begin making banners for social media so I don’t know if I would really use them that much.
