Give it to Jesus

Hello my dear readers in cyberspace,

This is Ann once again with a blog post for you.  First of all, I would like to wish each of you a very happy and God filled new year.  I pray that 2014 is not just another year in your life, but that it is a new beginning, and a spiritual journey in your walk with God.

The next point I want to make, is the fact that when we all have burdens in our lives, we must not hold on to them, we must give them to Jesus and let him fix the problems in our lives.  I heard a touching serman from a visiting pastor at our church this morning who gave his touching testimony. I won’t go through all the details of his life that he shared with us, but I will say that he taught us that if there is something in our lives that is weighing us down, we should give it to God.  This doesn’t mean for you to lay your troubles down at the altar, or at His feet, then turn around  and pick it right back up again and try to figure it out on your own. You will find out the hard way that without Him, you can do nothing.

Philipians 4:13 says “I can do all things through Christ who strengtheneth me.” With that being said, if you have been hurt by your church, your friends, or abused and misused by family members and other people in your life, or if you have any other problems, give them all to Jesus, and he will heal your broken and wounded spirit and give you that everlasting joy.  Once he has taken care of your problems, give Him all the glory and the praise for the blessings he has bestowed upon you.  because Jesus said, ” I am the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father, except through Me.”

As Christians today, we will have struggles that we must face, but God is there to see us through and His grace is sufficient for us. By God’s amazing grace alone, will we be able to fulfill his purpose for our lives.  Remember that you are put here on the earth for a purpose, and it’s up to you to seek God’s purpose for your life, no matter whether you are a strong believer, or a new Christian. However, if you are struggling with a burden in your life, no matter what it may be, and you feel that there is no hope, I encourage you to give your live to Christ, and he shall set you free from the bondage of sin.  This is not all you must do, once you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, find a bible believing church in your area, and study and fellowship with other Christians who are willing to Worship and pray with you, and help you seek God’s will for your life.  I pray this writing finds each of you well, and if this is not the case, I pray that God will heel you if it is His will.  Go with God, and God will certainly go with you.

Love and prayers to all God’s Children, in the precious name of Jesus.

And all God’s people said Amen.
