Writing a story inspired by a dream

This morning I had a dream that the rain caused a strange sensation to rep over me. I had to walk out in the rain, then the dream changed to a bit f music and I saw myself standing at the top of a mountain peak, as the rain slowed to a drizzle. This dream prompted a story which I will post here once I have edited it, called A Magical rain. I won’t spoil the story for you, but I can say that it has a peaceful side to it.
Many times I have been inspired to write stories, or novels, based on dreams that I’ve had. Sometimes my dreams inspire writing prompts, that I share with others, or I may tweet them, but I don’t have o see what someone has written based on my prompts, I just want to get someone’s creative juices flowing. My 2014 NaNoWriMo novel entitled The Apple Wheel, was inspired by a dreams here I was holding on to an apple shaped wheel, going round and round very slowly. I haven’t published this novel as of yet, but be looking out for it. However, I had another dream about a buggy ride that spun in circle, which gave me more inspiration.
