Kenneth L. Green is a native Atlantan and has lived in Atlanta, Georgia all of his life. He is a 1970 high school graduate of Henry McNeal Turner High School and attended the Atlanta Metropolitan College. Kenneth is a retiree of the Atlanta Public Library System and is a member of the Kuumba Storytellers of Georgia, a local storytelling organization of African American and people of color. This organization based here in Atlanta, Georgia is associated with the National Association of Black Storytellers which has other storytelling organizations all across the United States of America.

Kenneth Green is owner/puppeteer/manager of THE KENNY & FRIENDS PUPPET SHOW and also KLG CHILDREN’S THEATRICAL PRODUCTIONS. He is a local playwright known in the local Atlanta creative arts community. Kenneth has been producing, writing and directing plays and productions for over twenty years. The passion for creative arts in this area for Kenneth began as child when he performed and participated in plays/programs/various events in the church. Later on in his life as an adult, Kenneth continued this passion when given the assignment to work with the children/youth as Creative Arts Director. Monthly, Kenneth would present and perform puppet stories for the Sunday School and twice yearly, he produced, playwrighted and directed Christmas and Easter plays in which the entire Sunday School and youth department would perform in.

Kenneth Green’s production company (KLG PRODUCTIONS) produces and presents children’s and youth theatrical productions for the Atlanta-metro area communities. The production company presents variety showcases that consists of music, dance, drama and spoken word which are performed by youth cast in the productions ages, 5-17.

The KLG PRODUCTIONS VAFRIETY SHOWCASE are presented twice annually to family/youth/mature audiences.
