My thoughts for the day

I don’t know why, but I feel like just writing what is in my heart. I know I haven’t posted in a while, but the Lord has given me something new to work on. I am revising the first novel, of a four-part series featuring the Martin family. This family is a group of charactors who endure the struggles they are facing in life by growing closer to God, and allowing the Lord to teach them valuable lessons in life, so they can more effectively discover what He has called them to do according to His plan.

In A Journey of Faith, Becca is led by God to leave her Memphis apartment and her cushy job as a computer specialist, and embark upon a journey, wherein she is drawn closer to God, and she eventually goes back to her family. She meets many charactors along the way, who she brings closer to God. In this process, the people Becca meets along her pathway back to Jesus, teach her some very valuable lessons about her own life, which strengthens her own faith in the Lord. Surprisingly enough, she falls in Love with Jason Miller, who is the deputy sheriff of a small ficticious village in Mississippi. I will let you know when I have finished this book, and when it will be published.

In the meantime, I would like to switch gears. I know this isn’t like my usual inspirational posts, but I have to put in a plug for the Behind Our Eyes writers with disabilities organization, which I am a member of. Behind Our Eyes, (BOE) has published two anthologies of stories, poems, and essays written by writers with disabilities. These anthologies are titled Behind our eyes, and Behind our Eyes a second Look. No, I haven’t added anything of mine to these anthologies, but I plan to do so in future. However, these books can be found on amazon and other online bookstores. If you are blind or visually impaired like I am, these books can be found on bookshare, if you subscribe to this service. However, if you can’t afford to subscribe to bookshare, you can find them by calling your NLS network library, or you can download them from the BARD website.

Thanks for joining me on my wild ride of writing today. Happy writing and God bless each and everyone of you who take a moment to read my blog.
