Yesterday I learned a very valuable life lesson from God. Don’t go searching all over creation for what you need, when God places it either under your nose, or at your finger tips as the case may be.
Let me explained how I received this revelation from the Holy Spirit. The other day I was searching on Google for something that I could use for my book called Embracing the Healing Power of Music. Well, I had what I thought was the perfect article, and I started to take notes, when I discovered that the article was full of quotes from a book entitled The Sounds of Healing. So I deleted the article from my favorites list, and tried to find something more, to no avail. Needless to say, the Holy Spirit convicted my heart and made me think of at least three audio books I could download if I just got off my procrastination and logged onto the BARD Site and got them. Well, after waiting for the first book to download onto the BARD app I recently installed on my phone for an hour and a half, I decided to delete the app and download the zipped folders from the site itself. Since then, I not only found four audio books at my disposal, but I searched the ibook store, and found wealth of information, almost too much if you ask me. To make a long story short, I made a small investment into my research, and from what I started reading thus far, every penny I spent on the books I purchased, and every penny I spend to pay for my cell phone service is well worth the outcome of creating a book that will reach God’s children who are wounded and broken and in need of God’s divine gift of healing through music, that God has blessed us with since time began, from the natural music of bird song, rain, and other environmental sounds, to the art form of music as we know it today.
No matter what your situation might be, or what you may be searching for, all I suggest is that you ask the Holy spirit to show you where to find what you’re looking for. For Jesus tells us in Mathew 7:7 “ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:”
Until next time my dear readers, Love and prayers, and have a blessed night’s sleep. May God Richly bless you in the days ahead.
Nice write up. Keep it up!
Thanks, I love it when I learn valuable lessons I can share with my readers.
