Today I am feeling really energetic and creative. I have a feeling I am going to get some writing done. Let me tell you how I came to this revelation.

Have you ever had one of those days when you can feel the chill of a story that’s been hidden inside you for who knows how long, just waiting to come out? How about hearing a melody in your head that isn’t necessarily a familiar one, yet you can’t shake it no matter how you try? Today I am hearing a melody within me, and I just feel a story coming out of it, but I can’t put my finger on what the tune is trying to tell me. As I was going to eat lunch, I heard the muse tell me “look at Journey to the Mountain Topâ€. I’m not sure, but I have a distinct feeling that this mysterious melody is telling me something about my second novel.
