Hello everyone in the blogosphere, I know it’s been awhile since I last posted, so I wanted to check in with everyone and update you on my writing progress.
First of all, let me say that I’ve had a very busy NaNoWriMo this month. Although I started drafting the story, I originally called Inner Vision, which is now The Body in the Dorm Advisor’s office, I went back and started planning my novel using the Snowflake method. If you haven’t heard of this book, I encourage you to at least read it for the story Randy Ingermanson tells, whether the method works for you or not. If you’re unable to afford the book or find it in your local library, yet you’d like to try this method to plot your novel, you can download Chapters 19 and 20 of How to Write a Novel Using the Snowflake Method as a free PDF file. I’ve also started doing a series on my YouTube channel and my podcast, where I walk you through each step of the Snowflake Method, giving you examples of my own work along the way. Please note, no spoilers!
As a way to say thanks for hanging in there with me as I plan and restructure my novel, I’ve included a poem I wrote a few weeks ago entitled Storm Winds. If you like this poem, you’ll love the poems I’ve written in my book entitled The Spirit of Creativity: Inspirational Poems for the creative at heart. You can get the eBook at your favorite online retailor by visiting this Universal Link. I’ll let you know as soon as the audiobook comes out. Before I share my poem with you, I’d like to remind you to sign up for my newsletter so you can receive updates on my author journey and be notified of new releases. I’ll also send you a free short story or a free code for my book on Audible when it becomes available. Happy reading and God bless.
Hugs,
Ann
Storm Winds
Storm winds blow
On a windy Saturday morning
Storm winds blow
As a new day is dawning.
Will the storm clouds hide the sunshine we seek
Or will the bright sunshine through the storm clouds peek?
On this beautiful windy day.
Even though the storm winds blow,
The sunshine drives the clouds away.
