Now for the SYW Q&A challenge for May 14, 2018.

 

 

Before I answer this one, let me say that it depends on the type of sandwich we’re talking about.

Q; Complete this sentence: This sandwich could really use some…

A: If it’s a ham sandwich, this sandwich could really use some cheese or mayonnaise. If it’s a PB&J, on the other hand, it could use more peanut butter and/or jelly. Each sandwich could use a little something to make it taste so much better. What is your favorite little extra to add to a tasty sandwich to make it better?

Q: What is your least favorite candy?

A: To answer this question, I would have to say that I have a few candies that I don’t particular like. To list a few, one of my least favorites is twizzlers. I don’t like the taste of the of this type of candy, because to me it’s gooey, and It just tastes weird. The commercials make Twizzlers sound really good, but I found out that that was a farce.

My second least favorite, is lemon heads, or candies that are so sour that it feels as if it’s turning your mouth inside out. I have never been one for sour candies, I like them sweet.

When it comes to chocolate, I would have to say that the Alpine white candy bar is my last favorite. I like white chocolate to a certain extent, but I am not a fan of the alpine white, because it has a funny taste. Does anyone know if they even make this white chocolate candy bar anymore?

Q: What sign are you? Do you believe in astrology?

A: I am a Pisces. I used to read horoscopes when I was younger, just for fun, more so than because I believed in astrology; however, I really don’t believe that life can be guided by looking at the stars. I believe in God, and I try my best to follow His plan for my life.

Q: What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week?

A: In light of the fact that yesterday was Mother’s Day, there were a lot of things that I appreciated this past week. First of all, I am blessed with the time I spent with my precious daughter this weekend. Second of all, the most precious thing that made me smile, was the flower that she made for me at school this past week. It is hanging on y wall now. Happy belated Mother’s Day to all you mothers in the blogosphere, and I pray that your children gave you such a sweet blessing, like my daughter did this weekend.

One more thing, before I end this post. I also appreciated going to my parent’s house to spend time with my family and attend my grandmother’s 81^st birthday party. It blessed my heart to see my Meema one more time, while she’s still living on this earth. Tell your family members that you love them and you appreciate all they do for you, because you never how long you have with them, or when God will choose to call them and you, home.
