What God’s Prayer Labyrinth Looks Like for Me

prayer labyrinth

Dearly Beloved readers, I have a personal reflection to share with you today. In previous blogposts, I shared my reflections on the Path of Silence, The Path of Memory, The Path of Questioning, and The Path of Prayer. Today, I’m going to share with you the image God showed me of a tactile prayer labyrinth. God shows me images in texture, sound, or in my mind I’m physically placed inside God’s divine image. Keep reading for my labyrinth description.

Take a look at the image above. In this picture, you see a labyrinth with four paths. These paths include: the path of silence, The Path of Memory, The Path of Questioning, and the path of prayer.

The picture God gave me is of a round pathway with flowers and grass along each side. The outer circle starts with the Path of Silence, then spirals around to The Path of Memory. We circle around The Path of Questioning, then make our way to the center with the path of prayer. In the center of the labyrinth is a cross, where we kneel, stand, or sit in silence with God, before going back to life as we know it.

In my mind I walk around the outer circle, and turn down each winding path as I pray and meditate on God’s word and his commandments of the day. I kneel at the cross and give Thanks to God for giving me life and for my loved ones and praise Him for the blessings He has bestowed upon me to this day, and those he will bestow on me in the coming days. After I say my prayer of thanksgiving, I kneel in silence to listen to the still, small voice of the Holy Spirit, as Psalm 46:10 directs us to do. Let’s journal the Prayer labyrinth together by reading The Third Path and answering the questions  as we be still and know that God is our heavenly Father and Jesus is our Lord and savior.

Now it’s your turn. As you study the image and read my reflections on the four paths inside the labyrinth linked above, you can do one of two thing things. You can describe the way you see the prayer labyrinth, or you describe the prayer labyrinth on your own blog and put a link to your post in the comments, so I can read them and share them on my social media. Let’s journal the prayer labyrinth together as we walk, sit, or kneel in divine solitude with the Father.
